First of all, this is higly dependent on what works for the both of us. I am partnering with you as much as you are entrusting me with your business. What I would suggest is that I would buy your business, give you a check when we sign the agreements and you will stay on as a strategic or advisory role for about 12 months and we can review what make sense after.

Because this is the best bet if you care about your employees and customers. Large strategic buyers will cut staff because they have duplicates within their teams.
